Centurion of the Imperial Gallic Legion

This is an exercise I did in my spare time.This is a rendering display of high model + procedural texture. I really like the ancient Roman Gallic armor, which takes into account both aesthetics and modern industrial practicality. During this period, I checked reference pictures from different periods, but I still haven’t figured out one thing: the function of the copper rings on the warrior’s shoulders. I hope someone can give some hints.
